FIH Study of NRTX-1001 Neural Cell Therapy in Drug-Resistant Unilateral Mesial Temporal Lobe Epilepsy
Recruiting
This clinical trial is designed to test whether a single image-guided intracerebral administration of inhibitory nerve cells, called interneurons (NRTX-1001), into subjects with drug-resistant unilateral mesial temporal lobe epilepsy (MTLE), with or without mesial temporal sclerosis (MTS), is safe (frequency of adverse events) and effective (seizure frequency). NRTX-1001 comprises human interneurons that secrete a neurotransmitter, gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA).

Neonatal Seizure Registry, GEnetics of Post-Neonatal Epilepsy
Recruiting
The NSR-GENE study is a longitudinal cohort study of approximately 300 parent-child trios from the Neonatal Seizure Registry and participating site outpatient clinics that aims to evaluate whether and how genes alter the risk of post-neonatal epilepsy among children with acute provoked neonatal seizures. The researchers aim to develop prediction rules to stratify neonates into low, medium, and high risk for post-neonatal epilepsy based on clinical, electroencephalogram (EEG), magnetic resonance...
